For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Service overall first rate. Staff were both professional and accomodating. The room was excellent, with a great shower and quiet. We loved the window shutters. The b/fast had all the choices one would expect and was yummy. Lastly what really made a difference was making a special effort for my birthday. Nothing like Tasmanian hospitality!
Comfortable beds; well-stocked facilities (milk, soap, coffee, tea, cutlery, tableware, etc.); friendly staff; loved the cabin even more this time than the last - layout in #24 was fantastic for our family of 5! The outdoor facilities were also gorgeous, but weather prevented us from spending time outside...but there's always next time, and we will very likely be staying there again when our travels bring us back to Hobart (we live on the West Coast of Tassie).
Very nice cabins!! We love our stay here with the kids! My son loves the playgroup! The kitchen has everything you need! We will definitely come back here.
Nice clean cabin, comfy beds, all the basics that you need and all in good working order (especially the heating on a frosty morning worked well). Very good value for money, friendly staff, and we had a lovely quiet stay. Have stayed here before, and no doubt will again!
The managers were so welcoming and friendly, and the cabin was perfect for us.
Our dog was welcome and the park was so clean and tidy.
Location is excellent , next time we visit we will stay at this park much longer, it really is fabulous
