For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The cabin was surrounded by trees with a stunning view out over the ocean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious - we had the poached eggs and they were my favourite ever! I also tried the Japanese Udon noodles which was delicious on a cold morning. We were able to watch the sunrise from bed and see some Australian wildlife under the stars. We will definitely be back! A perfect stay for couples.

Our stay was warm and cozy. The bed comfortable, all amenities well-appointed, clean and inviting. Hot water a-plenty! Parking was directly outside cabin. Driving in and around park very easy. Staff friendly and helpful with enquiries. A great stay and much needed relaxation undertaken. The weather was a little disappointing but did not spoil our visit and we were able to get out and about and meet some wonderful people at other venues.

It had a great view and was a comfortable size for 2 people. The fire place was the highlight and kept the cabin nice and warm all night.

The view from our cabin was the money shot of all money shots. Breathtaking and to spot a wile wombat seeking his dinner was a buzz. The peace and quiet was unforgettable.

The original 2 bedroom Cabin we booked was okay but not for 4 adults, more 2 adults + a child. We had issues with water leaking from the toilet. The management were wonderful and moved us to a larger cabin for the night which more than met our expectations.

Location right on Coles Bay was beautiful. Cabin included fireplace, although it did not get cold enough to use. Well stocked kitchen with utensils, etc. Walking distance to general store, cafe etc. 5 min drive to Freycinet visitors centre and Wineglass Bay wallking trails.

Right across the road from a lovely quiet bay, I found the location handy to get around the peninsula, and having a tavern next door was very convenient because we got there bit late. Accommodation was basic but it was as expected for a holiday cabin and it had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Shower had good pressure and hot water was nice and hot, and lady at reception was lovely.
