Schladming is a darling village town with many amenities for skiing. The hotel was conveniently located at a ski bus stop and ran several times during the day. If you want to be in the heart of the village this isn't your spot. If you want a gorgeous view of the village and resort you have come to the right place. It is a 10-minute walk to all the action and restaurants or $15 taxi each way. We would walk into town and taxi back. So many great dining options just be sure you have a reservation. Room is modern and beds are comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed and in room sauna was perfect. Lots of room for ski gear plus room to relax. We had 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom on 2nd floor. Melani at the front desk is very friendly and helpful with anything you need for the hotel and the city. Plenty of ski options for all levels, but I suggest finding a guide your first day to understand all of the lift connections and easy to hard run navigation. We found a local guide the 2nd day and it made all the difference.

The chalet is truly beautiful, new, clean, and spacious, with a large terrace and a stunning view of the Dachstein massif. It has a well-equipped kitchen (two refrigerators - for 2 families, great idea:-) ), the surroundings are peaceful, and there are beautiful paths for walking. In winter, the location right on the ski slope is a great advantage.
Our stay at Zeffererhof was delightful! The location is unbeatable—right next to the ski slope, making it incredibly convenient for skiing. The spacious rooms were perfect for our family. The added bonus of a spa area with an infrared cabin, sauna, and wellness shower was a treat after a day on the slopes. We appreciated the ski storage room and free private parking. Overall, a fantastic experience!
The hotel had very good breakfast, in the afternoon there was coffee, tea, cakes and soup and for dinner you could choose from three main courses plus there was plenty on the salad bar, soup, starter, etc. So food-wise no issues. I'm a vegetarian and even for me there was plenty to select from. The hotel has wellness with a lovely and warm outside pool, inside pool and a nice area for relaxation. There was a shuttle service always at the ready to take us to and from the slopes, much appreciated.
Great location right next to the lift, so when the slopes were already very busy after lunch (unfortunately, it was warm at the time of our visit), we went to the accommodation for a while to rest. Then we took the last lift up to Hochwurzen, went down to Seiterhutte and waited there for evening skiing.
Excellent breakfast, all stuff were very nice.
