For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.
This is a rustic cozy cabin with breathtaking views of the Alps around Mariazell. The cabin was well furnished with dishes, cutlery and some towels. There USA stove and oven, microwave, toaster and tv. Best of all, the hosts had extremely cute baby bunnies and sheep out children could feed. The bunnies were the absolute highlight of our stay.
We stayed over a long holiday weekend and enjoyed several day trips in the area with the NÖ card. The Bürheralpe is less than 5 minutes walk away. It’s the perfect weekend destination.
The apartment is just a few minutes walk from the centre, it’s well equipped even if you want to fix a dinner, you can find everything in the kitchen you need for. It could have been renovated in the past few years, everything looked new. It was clean and welcoming. We really loved the fireplace, it made the winter evening even more cushy.
Note: this apartment was on the top floor which was not a problem for us but you should be prepared for that particularly if you have challenges with climbing stairs.
The apartment is located in an authentic stylish wooden house; it is well equipped with wooden furniture, providing enough room for two people. We were not missing anything in the kitchen; we enjoyed a nice view of mountains from there. Also, we have appreciated several recycling bins on place and some available maps and leaflets with suggestions of destinations in the surroundings. The landlords were very friendly, we would definitely come again on a convenient occasion.
Everything was excellent, breakfast very good, staff very friendly, dinners also very good. I can only to recommend for everyone. Ski room available, parking free behind the hotel. For us was very nice the location of the hotel - 200 m from cabin to Buergeralpe.
High quality accomodation, perfectly equipped appartment, very large space. Perfect possibility to store your ski equippment, boots quickly dry (underfloor heating also in hallway).
Location next door to Burgeralpe lift makes it very attractive for winter (cabin lift not functional during our stay, out of season).

The location is perfect, close to the city center. The cabin lift is in walking distance, the chair lift is a 5-10 minutes car ride away. The studio is quite big and well equipped. The bed is comfortable and there’s a Nespresso maschine. The owners are nice and helpful, they were flexible and recommended us the perfect local restaurant.
