Very modern, comfortable and ideal for skiing! One of the best places I ever stayed for vacations and I'd certainly come back!
Parking direct at the building entrace and a lift before the apartment door are fantastic for load and unload luggage and ski equipment. The ski room is super practical, with heated hooks for ski boots that make it a dream to wear them in the morning. The sauna area is new, with great ambience, nature sounds, free tea and it's perfect for couples. We got great quality bath robes too, and fresh sauna towels are available every day.
Everything was really clean and new. The kitchen is fully equipped and we had lovely meals everyday, near the balcony. There is enough hot water at the apartments to warm the bones after a cold day at the slopes, with a heated towel rack too. The location is very quiet, great to relax, but only 8 minutes by bus to the main ski lift. Fast internet and two TVs get you ready to cozy up with streaming movies.
Finally, Viktoria, our host, was wonderful, most friendly and helpful, super competent, got all the information we needed and made our stay even more perfect.

Great hotel well situated and a shirt walk to the lift. The whole resort is very accessible by walking. Chalet Madelein was very good value for money compared to the more expensive hotels and you can use the Hotel Madalein Spa in their sister hotel.

Exactly as seen in the pictures, this property is a picturesque chalet, Tyrollean style with high end amenities. Manuel and Sabrina are excellent hosts, caring and polite.
They would provide breakfast of our liking every morning at the desired time precisely at a very reasonable price. Probably the best croissants we’ve ever tasted came warm along with many other delicacies.
The access to the slopes is less than a 5 min drive and you can also use the ski bus shuttle which runs for free almost in front of the house.
The hotel has a lot of facilities that you can think of: dry sauna, wet sauna, very good breakfast, also you can order in the afternoon something to eat. There is a 24h lounge we're you can relax and grab something to drink or skme snacks. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the ski lifts, however is not far from them. We called the shuttle bus and arrived in 3 min. Also by walk you make around 15/20 min. The staff was very nice. I definitely enjoyed and recommend the place to stay. Also the room was very spacious and clean.
Enjoyed staying in a spacious room with a French window and picturesque view, The bed mattress and pillows were suuuuper comfortable and soft , I just made an effort every morning to force myself out of the bed:-) very good cleaning

I enjoyed the spa area as well with a variety of facilities: sauna, steam room, infrared cabin.
it was also very nice to have lots of fresh towels in the spa area.
Helpfull owner
Spacious rooms (we were a family of 6 and stayed in 2 rooms comfortably). Efficient ski shop in the hotel where we could rent and store our skis and boots. Very good restaurant and room service and the champagne hut next door was fun (we never heard any noise from it at night which is good too)
The sauna was good and nice (you would need to request it at the morning for evening). The breakfast was very good and fresh as well as the coffee with excellent verity of things. Really enjoyed it. The place has a shuttle to the lifts if you need. General location is pretty good (close to Ishgl lifts) and even reachable by walk, but with the car several minutes drive, considering the prices great deal.
