The location of MONDI in Grundlsee is very convenient - we took a day trip to Hallstatt which was just 30 minutes drive, and another day we drove the panoramic route to Loser Altaussee. The MONDI resort staff were very welcoming and friendly - my husband and I are American and English speaking and the staff was always quick to accommodate with a smile. We enjoyed the spa / wellness area each day during our stay - while the steam bath was out of service, we still were able to use the 3 other saunas and the pool. The food was exceptional as well - from breakfast to dinner, we left satisfied and pleased with each meal. They offer a seasonal venison menu and we loved trying new things we don't normally get to eat! The chalets themselves are so charming - our studio had a mini kitchen, supplied with utensils, dishes, and cookware, and a good size refrigerator. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome, too! Can't say enough great things about our stay.

Schladming is a darling village town with many amenities for skiing. The hotel was conveniently located at a ski bus stop and ran several times during the day. If you want to be in the heart of the village this isn't your spot. If you want a gorgeous view of the village and resort you have come to the right place. It is a 10-minute walk to all the action and restaurants or $15 taxi each way. We would walk into town and taxi back. So many great dining options just be sure you have a reservation. Room is modern and beds are comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed and in room sauna was perfect. Lots of room for ski gear plus room to relax. We had 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom on 2nd floor. Melani at the front desk is very friendly and helpful with anything you need for the hotel and the city. Plenty of ski options for all levels, but I suggest finding a guide your first day to understand all of the lift connections and easy to hard run navigation. We found a local guide the 2nd day and it made all the difference.

Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.
The design of the hotel was quite good fully decorated with wood inside and outside, which made it like a big mountainous Chalet. The views of the mountains around the hotel were great and it was quite a relaxing experience unwinding and looking at them. Also, the location is quite good for people who are interested in visiting Haalstadt.
The beautiful cabin is its own scenery,and the view outside is also like a picture.The landlord is very nice ,we will recommend the cabin to our friends.
Location was ideal as from our balcony you could see the glacier and was close to a supermarket. The balcony was my favourite feature as was a nice sun trap with seating and had a shutter that could be lowered at night and to keep rain from blowing in. Host was informative and accommodated our early check in.
Our family had a great time at the hotel. Very friendly staff and helpful. We were greeted at the check-in with a glass of Prosecco and everything very well explained to us. I also liked the location and being able to stay door-to-door with the rest of my family. We had amazing top floor rooms with the view of the mountains at the distance. Great wellness options with a gym, 2 saunas, 2 infrared cabins and a pool. Booked breakfast+dinner option but had even lunch snack available and alco/non-alco drinks available all day.
Excellent food (except for Topfen Strudel).

We enjoyed everything about our stay at the chalet.
The view from the terrace is breathtaking, Lake Gosau is just up the road, there is a restaurant about 5 minutes from the house and Hallstatt is not far either.
The house is beautiful and light and has everything one needs for a comfortable stay.
We will definitely be back!
We spent the Easter weekend in a group of 4 people. The apartment was very very beautiful, really well furnished and equipped with an amazing attention to details. The atmosphere I felt was sensational. It looked like to be in a wooden mountain hut. I really suggest this venue, 5 stars.
