Refugio Montana was the most incredibly beautiful place to stay after multiple hard days hiking. The chalet style main house was stunning, inside and out - The cold river swims followed by wood fired hot tub warm ups were so welcome on the muscles. The food was perfect - home cooked, filling and delicious - a taste of chef Luciano’s hometown was also really special. Excellent bartending skills and yummy wine. The refugio is about 40 mins on a dirt road from Chalten but totally worth it as a great location to access walks from Rio Electrio. Biggest thanks to the amazing team for having us.

This place is in an unbeatable location - everything you need is within walking distance, and the most popular trailheads are extremely close by. The breakfast was great, the room was nice, and the staff were exceptionally helpful. I also loved how clean everything was.

Anita has to be one of the most friendly hosts we have encountered in our travels. We had a bottle of wine gifted as she knew it was our honeymoon. Plus we were given a lift to the bus station after check out as it was raining. The accomodation is very well located, and easy walk to the main trailheads.

Very modern cabin with good heating. Basic facilities were provided such as kitchen, clothes rack, etc.. Hosts were really nice and helpful, with optional daily cleaning (like in a hotel).
Close to bus station and paved roads all the way. Organised shuttles for me. Was clean and room was spacious. Water was hot. Next door restaurant and bar was convenient. Breakfast included eggs which was better than just breads.
This is a gorgeous room, very new and very spacious in a two floor cabin-like room. Bed is excellent, shower also good. It is located maybe three blocks from the main street.
