It was very warm and nicely located. I was able to walk to the bus station and to the center without any problems. I really appreciated the heating system of the apartment.

The accommodation is comfortable and homely, but spotless, with cleaners coming in daily. Cabanas is located right by the lake, with an excellent restaurant close by (El Cucharon) and a 10-15 walk into the main town for a wide range of eateries.

clean cottage, beautifully furnished, fully equipped kitchen, with new sanitary ware, near the bus station but far from the center. The kind host who was kind enough to take us to the bus station in 5 minutes because, although the distance is short, the road cannot be traveled with a suitcase because it is gravel.

The location was great right across restaurants, petrol station and supermarket. Waling distance to city centre. The staff was very friendly and the cabain itself was nice and warm when we got there. there were clean sheets, towels, tea and coffee was given on arrival

We had an absolutely fantastic stay here. The cabin was cosy without being too small. Plenty of hot water and a comfortable bed. Florencia is the best host we have had in a long long time. Fresh bread daily and homemade jam to boot. Plus Bobby the dog is an absolute cutie. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Everyone from Hostal Schilling was amazing, from the front desk crew to the lovely lady who made breakfast. I had all my tours and airport shuttle booked very efficiently and they made sure I had everything sorted properly prior. Regardless the time of the day, the crew always greets you with a smile and are super friendly. The location is also close to the main street where the supermarket and restaurants are located at. You do have to go up/down a small slope everyday to get to the main street.
Loved having our own private cabins, they are super cute! Small kitchen area were we were able to make meals or bring leftovers back. The staff was super friendly!
The room was huge, the underfloor heating was fantastic, and the breakfast decent with gluten free options. Staff were friendly and the living spaces were great. Location was perfect, walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and bars. The cabin vibe in the living room space was also lovely.
Well-located hostel, with all the supplies needed for a short or long stay. They also provide a few services (tours to perito moreno + airport shuttles) with a very competitive price. Since the pick up for all these services is at the hostel door, it's super convenient and cheaper than all the other tours we could find.
Flor was a an excellent host, super helpful and flexible too. Helped us arrange collections from the airport and excursions. She made us fresh bread everyday which is a good bonus so you can start the morning with a snack:)
The cabins are wooden so can get cold but had really good heating.
The view of Lake Argentina and the surrounding landscape is beautiful. Sitting on the main deck looking out was heavenly. We were four people in a cabin and the rooms and facilities were well designed and comfortable. The grand living room of the hotel with its massive fireplace would be amazing in colder weather, but it was warm when we were there and we wanted to be outside!!
