The property was clean and lovely, well maintained… the room was spacious, light and airy, lots of windows(with shades) with a shared balcony.. the WiFi worked very well, they have all the modern wants such as a tv connected to YouTube, Netflix, prime tv and others.. overall the property has a few pool tables, the check in process is quick, the room, bed, sheets and bathroom were all clean, and the staff were very personable… the place is nice, really nice I’d 10/10 recommend

The facility itself has potential, but it falls short of luxury due to lack of maintenance. The name 'Mint Express' suggests a more budget-friendly option compared to the standard Mint experience. Unfortunately, my stay felt more like a seedy motel, with noise and music reminiscent of a brothel. It's a shame to see this beautiful establishment neglected in such a way. I won't be returning.
Good sized and well decorated rooms, convenient location for OR Tambo Airport. Excellent food in the restaurant and really friendly team.
The hotel is located right in the theme park so it was very convenient. There is a shuttle bus service between the theme park and Casino/entertainment side. The staff who drove us was super friendly and helpful. He even helped us at the reception when checking in, to change our room to upstairs from downstairs so that we could have more space and nicer view. The family unit has two bedrooms and a lounge and is spacious. The breakfast was also lovely.
The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was the highlight of the room as it was much better than I could imagine. Convenient and easy to get in and out and extremely friendly staff
I was warmly greeted by my friendly host, Yolandi and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The room I stayed in provided all the creature comforts I could hope for with modern amenities, beautiful quality decor and probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I was also given the option of a continental breakfast which was delicious, convenient and surprisingly affordable! Definitely my go-to accommodation from now on whenever I should pass through Pretoria!
We loved everything about the venue. For a budget-friendly option it surpassed our expectation. Everything was sparkling clean, the kitchenette is well equipped and the self-service style breakfast very convenient. The freshly baked bread was amazing. We also loved that we were away from everyone else, it was very private. Although the rest of the amenities like the Boma are closer to the other cottages, it’s just a few meters walk to the main area.
The facilities were immaculate, staff were friendly and helpful. The room was turned down daily and well arranged. Many unexpected perks including daily top ups of Nespresso pods and Lindt chocolates. Concierge service and valet parking were fantastic. Lovely health club facilities and proximity to the shopping center makes this a perfect base in Johannesburg.
It's a good low cost destination with an extremely friendly stuff and available to attend to guests. It's value for a small budget and fits with the price range. It's convenient and the area is quiet and you can Uber Eats conveniently for meals. It's close to mall of Africa so you can easily travel and do activities there.
