First was the friendly staff, the hotel was overmanned by nice people. We were upgraded to a better room with a view on the second floor. Food was great and cheap. They cooked for us for the stuff we bought in the market. We had an awesome moment at the pool. Their cocktails are good and cheap.

If you want to see the whale sharks the staff help you at the hotel and at the location of the sharks. They were great. You don’t need to reserve, just arrive as early as you can (we arrived at 5am) and get in the walk-in queue. The hotel have staff who help you through it and shuttle you to and from. That’s the only reason we’d recommend staying here. Cheap and easy for whale sharks but if you have a larger budget stay elsewhere.

A lovely and relaxing stay. Slightly out of the city but all good if you rent a scooter! Most staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious and a good price. If you take budget room, you have to pay extra for AC.

Marlon was a great host, super friendly and ready to help. The room overlooking the sea was amazing, with the terrace. Plus you get normal beds instead of bunk beds, lots of storage space and bathroom inside of the room. The place was always kept clean and it is right next to the port, restaurants, bars and the beach

Spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Convenient that you are able to book motorbike rental and book trips through the hotel (though do note it does seem that they charge more for trips, you could get them cheaper elsewhere - we booked the canyoneering through them and paid 2000 pesos each however speaking to people on our tour some paid 1800 pesos and others 1000 pesos)

The location is far away from the noise of the city center but still close that you can walk to restaurants. Really convenient with us for any accomodations. The staff are really helpful and kind. They are friendly as well. The breakfast were really good and cheap, made for us at the time we wanted it, just have to book it the night before.

Very clean, including the toilets and showers, very friendly staff, cheap. Good privacy with a curtain all the way round the bunk beds, also a plug socket and light for every bed.
