The BEST hostel/capsule I've been! The staff were super friendly, always greeting me when I left or came back to the hotel with a smile, made me feel very welcomed :) everything was tidy, clean and well managed, and I felt very comfortable staying in my little pod throughout the whole time. They have a separate powder room, bathroom, and toilet area - and with basically everything I need (even hair curlers). The location is also perfect, you can see the Skytree just outside, and there's a Don Quijote just across the street from the hotel. Highly recommend to anyone traveling solo or on a budget!!

First pod experience and I loved it. Everything was well organise and self explanatory even if there was no staff at reception on our arrival. Everything is very well organise and easy to go around. Facilities are super clean and way more comfortable than I would have imagine. Shower facilities were all individual, super clean and with all the products. The Hair/mirror station were also very good. Sleeping there was like been in a cocoon. I would definitely do this again!!

The food choices, the comfortable little cubbies, the 2 fans, the kind man who helped me check in at 1 am, the assigned books per cubicle, the pajamas, the extreme quiet.

Smart Stay er vel staðsett í miðbæ Tókýó SHIZUKU Ueno Ekimae býður upp á loftkæld herbergi, sameiginlega setustofu, ókeypis WiFi og veitingastað. The facility was extremely clean and well-organized! They provided toothbrushes, towels, everything you need. The public baths and bathrooms were also very clean. There's a convenient locker inside your capsule as well as chain locks to keep your big luggage close to your capsule. Overall a very nice experience.

Located just a 3-minute walk away from JR Ueno Station, カプセルネットグランカスタマ上野店 features a large public bath and a sauna. There is a 24-hour front desk and free luggage storage is available. Very clean, quiet. Also free drink per one night. I was traveling alone, and it was safe and nice since this place is near Ueno station. Lounge was very good, you are free to read books there. Also you can use public bath, and they provide free toothbrush, razor, towel, bath cloth.

Situated just a 3-minute walk away from Akihabara Train Station, Akihabara Bay Hotel is a female only accommodation offering a 24-hour front desk with free WiFi access throughout the entire property. It was my first time in Asia and Tokyo, and my first time in a capsule hotel. I thought that it was tighny but I felt it very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay. The place it's very, very clean, I was amazed. The people is really nice, very respectful and helpful. The only thing that you have to consider it's the baggage, as smaller the better. I would go there again for sure.
