Set in Matsue and with Lafcadio Hearn Memorial Museum reachable within 2.9 km, Matsue Urban Hotel CubicRoom offers free bikes, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant. The location is great, it’s very close to the train station. When I checked in, the staff were super friendly and gave clear instructions. They provide towels, toothbrushes and pajamas, so I don’t need to bring many items with me. They also offer free tea and coffee. The lobby is comfy, and the first floor has a comic book area! The bed has a curtain, giving me privacy. And of course the bed is comfortable. The shower room is nice and has everything I need. Surprisingly they even have facial care products! Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would love to stay there again when I visit next time!!

Set in Yunotsu, within 12 km of Nima Sand Museum and 19 km of Iwami Ginzan World Heritage Centre, WATOWA offers accommodation with a restaurant and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests... Fantastic location. The futons were comfortable and the room was perfect for 4 people. Stairs are quite steep but it didn’t bother us, although it might be difficult for elderly or people with mobility issues. We loved our stay at Watowa and we would love to e to stay again when we’re next in Yunotsu.
