The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful; the bartender was particularly delightful, always smiling and easy to chat with. Additionally, everyone spoke excellent English, which made communication smooth and enjoyable.

The hotel is conveniently located very close to the Basel SBB station and airport bus making it very easy to reach the airport for an early morning flight. Super easy check in/check out and friendly staff at reception. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. A short stay but overall very good!

booked to stay overnight at the IBIS Budget City hotel because it was close to the Bahnhof Basel SBB and the front desk was open till midnight or more. I took a taxi to the hotel and was booked in by a friendly and helpful staff member.

The room was great. Though they do not have a fridge in the room but there is one close to the reception which all the guests can use. The free Airport bus stop is right outside the hotel making it very convenient to go to the hotel very early in the morning. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful.

It is a budget friendly hotel near the central train station! It is very convenient if you plan to travel to Colmar or Strasbourg and catch the bus for the airport. Since travelling with local transport is free around Basel with your Basel card then everything is within access since all trams and buses start/finish at the central station. The Basel card was on my desk by entering the room, which was very convenient. Cleaning was ok.

The staff was really helpful and friendly. Location is convenient and there are a few tram stops right outside, but you can walk everywhere from there very easily. Breakfast times are just perfect. The extra perks are a really nice touch: free public transport and complementary minibar.
