Cheapest place to stay on a mountain, which is super convenient when travelling on a budget. Staff were all lovey, bed was comfy and room was well sized.
The room was nice and clean. Basic facilities like fridge, microwave and laundry machines were available. Vivi and her family were very friendly, responsive and helpful. I appreciate the thoughts and efforts they put in to ensure their guests have a good experience. The homestay is located in East Vancouver, where you can find cheap but delicious eats in the neighbourhood. It is also convenient for those taking transit as it is within several minutes walk to various bus stops that connect to the Skytrain.
Hotel Blu was located in a major street in Vancouver which was very convenient. It was within 5 minutes of walking time to the local buses and train station. The street had restaurants and eateries for all tastes and budgets. It was within walking distance from other interesting sites and areas which can be enjoyed. The room was spacious and it provided great quality coffee which was very welcomed at the end of a long day. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. It was clean and the air conditioning worked really well.
The rooms were clean and tidy with freshly washed bedsheets and blankets...... The bathroom was well maintained and hygienic..... The room pricing is budget friendly compared to other hotels that are cheaper but super dirty......The staff who assisted us is very helpful....
Bed was very comfortable, loved the Nespresso coffee pod machine in our room. The staff were helpful and friendly. Prior to us arriving provided lots of useful information of what to do in Vancouver. The location is convenient to downtown Vancouver and walkable to major attractions, Stanley Park , Granville Island, Canada place waterfront where tours can be arranged . Cafe Elysian next door and also the Burgoo Bistro. The meals there were delicious, reasonably priced and friendly staff.
cheap and cheerful, but tatty but nice bedding, good beds, friendly staff and good size rooms good for couples or groups on a budget
Convenient location Friendly staff Comfortable beds and pillows Great water pressure in the shower and loved the Japanese toilet! Enjoyed the bath products.
For a cheaper option this hostel is the way to go. Friendly front desk person, parking, and we had the room to ourselves as our room had just the 1 bunk bed (thought we would for sure have roomates). Location is alright 20 min walk to get to the music venue we were going to and several breweries.
