At the capsule hotel, every room is equipped with a balcony. Featuring a shared bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, rooms at The Pier Pods on the water- 50m from Townsville bus terminal and ferry terminal also have a sea view. At the accommodation all rooms are fitted with bed linen and towels. This hostel was very nice and comfortable. Everything was fine, especially the view and the kitchen. I’ve never seen such a well-equipped, modern and clean kitchen. And the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The location was great. Loved the furnishings and beach decor of the room and the quality cutlery and crockery. For a unit not self contained it was terrific. Large fridge, microwave and everything needed for our two night stay.
Fantastic view. Very comfortable lounge and bedding. We were lucky we had considerate neighbours next to us. Would definitely stay again.

It’s an amazing place and very affordable, especially for travelers coming from Asia. The accommodations are budget-friendly and include breakfast, making it a great value. Additionally, the tram station is just a short walk away, providing convenient transportation options. I highly recommend this place without hesitation. The staff, especially Rico, is outstanding and made my stay even more enjoyable.
Convenient- Budget friendly - Location - Clean
A friendly individual place. Pleasant downtown area. Convenient and relatively cheap - I wanted to spend time in Fortitude Valley without the expense of staying there.
It does what it says on the tin - a budget airport hotel. A surprisingly long taxi ride from the Domestic Terminal (but much closer, I think, to the International Terminal. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Small but spotless room (air con a bit noisy but not enough to disturb our sleep). Machines selling snacks in foyer. Several taxis outside when we left at 6am (but Uber was cheaper).
Budget friendly, comfortable, lived the warm cookie on arrival .. my daughters and I were going to a funeral so that was a nice touch before hand. Close and convenient to the sites on the esplanade.
Great view of the water, can't wait for the ferry terminal to be completed - will make this place 5 stars! Older room, but that means it has a lot more room than newer units. Really enjoyed being able to have some nibbles and a cocktail before heading across the river to attend our event too. Lovely friendly staff and easy convenient (and cheap) parking. Coming back soon.
Very conveniently located and budget friendly. The lodgings are comfortable and clean. The staff were an absolute delight to deal with and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, I even slept in past checkout time and they were very understanding and accomodating. Overall 10/10 would stay here again.
It's budget accommodation and good value for money. We were going out each day so just needed a clean safe room at night. Parking at our door was really convenient. It was good to have secure gates locked after hours. Kitchenette for snacks and reheating was good. There was friendly and welcoming staff.
Cheaper option than other airport hotels. Quick and easy check-in and checkout. Easy and lots of available parking right outside room. Option of continental breakfast is convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful.
