At the capsule hotel, every room is equipped with a balcony. With a shared bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries, rooms at The Pier Pods on the water- 50m from Townsville bus terminal and ferry terminal also have a sea view. At the accommodation all rooms are fitted with bed linen and towels. Amazing. Great idea and excellent place to stay - a destination in itself. Beautiful to be so close to the water while in bed. So convenient for the buses and ferry. Steve was very accommodating - thanks!
Nelly Bay
Blue on Blue Apartments are located on the Nelly Bay Marina. The complex has 2 pools including a large lagoon pool and a resort pool, shared BBQ facilities, easy access to the Marina boardwalk, a restaurant, day spa, and secured underground parking. The location was great. Loved the furnishings and beach decor of the room and the quality cutlery and crockery. For a unit not self contained it was terrific. Large fridge, microwave and everything needed for our two night stay. Fantastic view. Very comfortable lounge and bedding. We were lucky we had considerate neighbours next to us. Would definitely stay again.

Affordable accommodation close to the centre of Townsville, ideal for those traveling on a budget who don't want to stay in a dorm. Very helpful and friendly staff (they let me check-in early). The rooms are simple but convenient and quiet. I didn't need more than a good bed and some space for my belongings.
Great location just outside of the city. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hostel itself was really nice - bunk beds in dorms had privacy curtains.
