Find the capsule hotels that appeal to you the most
Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.
I have stayed in a few different apartments within the Menlyn Maine Residence and have to say Steve makes an exceptional effort to make one feel welcome. The space is clean, cozy and inviting. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen, full size fridge, and a washing machine. Check-in and parking are equally convenient through reception. The housekeeping service is a bonus. I had booked very late and communication with Steve was fast and friendly. Highly recommend staying here!
Everything was spectacular from the friendly staff, the employees.. everything was explained clearly, and everyone was always willing to help.
I love that it's soooo close to the lagoon and restaurant and there's a convenient store in the vicinity.
I was warmly greeted by my friendly host, Yolandi and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The room I stayed in provided all the creature comforts I could hope for with modern amenities, beautiful quality decor and probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I was also given the option of a continental breakfast which was delicious, convenient and surprisingly affordable! Definitely my go-to accommodation from now on whenever I should pass through Pretoria!
I've stayed there before so locating the guesthouse was easier, the staff is always friendly and helpful. And I liked how quiet the guesthouse is, quiet convenient for a selfcation.
