Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
The accomodation was wonderful and very comfortable. The Location is very convenient and close to beach and shopping centres. I looked through lots of available places to stay and finally decided on this Hotel. It is very neat and we enjoyed a small breakfast that was more than enough and to our expectations. The Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The Hotel was taken over by new owners couple of years back and been renevated beautifully.
Our room was so spacious with great views over the harbour, beds and pillows were so comfortable. The location was convenient, close to the town and shops/restaurants. The host was so friendly and welcoming and offered us a free update of the room which made our stay even better than expected. The breakfast is delicious and offers a lot of options for all tastes. Try their omelette: definitely the best we had in South Africa! Whish we could have stayed longer!
We had a good room, convenient for the restaurant and breakfast area, and the pool. Staff were friendly and cheerful. And the breakfast was fantastic. We had a very good meal in the Gannet Restaurant one evening. It was a short walk to the Old Harbour and beach. And it was a two minute walk to the really interesting Mossel Bay museum where we spent an enjoyable few hours. We had parking immediately outside the hotel entrance. We also did their gin tasting one evening - highly recommended!
Fantastic views over the bay and super friendly and helpful hosts! Just a few mins drive to the town so very convenient location for us. Some aspects of room a little dated but everything was extremely clean and tidy with nice comfy bed and the balcony views are stunning. Would happily reccommend to others.
The host was very friendly. Location is convenient. The interior of the place is funky and old school exterior. Very comfortable and friendly. Only improvement is to have a parking available that is not on the street. For the price a jewel.
