Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

    - very friendly, supportive and responsive host (he brought quickly small items that were lacking in the apartment, e.g. handsoap, dish towel, cups, spoon - sitting on the balcony for hours was convenient because it wasn't too hot - front beach and food were by walking distance - overall clean

The homestay is not luxury but friendly and comfortable like you're at home. Everything is simple enough for you but it's cheap for paying. It's depend on your demand. For me, when I traveling, I just need a place to stay for bathing and sleeping, most of the time I will go out, so I don't need a luxury hotel. The homestay is enough for me with my budget.
