Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.
Great environment, the Hudson River is within reach, allowing you to fully enjoy nature and tranquility with your family. The employees are very friendly and willing to provide assistance. Parking is also convenient and free. The toilet space is spacious.
What an amazing place and such a great surprise !! It is an old steel factory converted into a hotel with the perfect mix of maintaining the original character while being a newly renovated 4-star hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, and we loved our tour of the reception hall along with a history lesson of the original purpose.
The room was very spacious with high ceilings, the bed very comfortable and breakfast included with a waterfront view was an extra bonus.
We will definitely stay there again on our next travels.
