Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
Super friendly and helpful staff! The hostel has a rooftop bar and organizes activities every day for socializing. Was super easy to meet new people and make new friends! The hostel is located very convenient next to Khao San road, and in the basement floor there is an indian restaurant. Even tho there is a rooftop bar, it is super quiet after midnight and easy to sleep. The sleeping pods provide enough space even for bigger persons! Would definitely come there again!
Loved the cleanliness. The staff was friendly. Although I spent just one night. I loved the concept of the capsule hotel. I would love to come back here again.
The location is good, the staff lovely and the 24 h reception is always so helpful if you need a late check-in. Good atmosphere in the restaurant/bar. The bed was not bad at all. The price is cheap and convenient if you have a tight budget. You have several stores and restaurants nearby.

Extremely friendly and polite staffs, even better than their Japanese counterparts. Lots of cheap restaurants that serves tasty SEA food , bars, money exchanges , 7/11 stores, massage shops nearby.
Really nice place, centrally located. Very comfy bunk beds with curtains for privacy and nice temperature inside. Convenient bathroom and leafy outside chill area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a nice restaurant (The Family restaurant) very close by on the same path as the hostel entrance. A 7/11 and Thai massage place also just right around the corner. A short 15 minute walk from Khao San road. They had refillable drinking water and free coffee in the morning :))
As a regular solo traveler to Bangkok, Asok Montri Hostel meets all my needs - convenient location, clean and safe accommodation, budget friendly and most of all Khun Pla is friendly and helpful. A great host.
It’s a budget friendly accommodation. You get showers, hairdryer, free breakfast, free wifi, cool capsule, comfy bed, television/tablet, convenient location at a low price. Staff are helpful and friendly.
