Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.

Calm and cozy hostel with great location in the city center by the river. Beautiful historical surroundings. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dorm was not too big (only three bunk beds), so one bathroom was enough for everyone. Also appreciated the big convenient lockers. The yard looked nice for having a coffee there in the morning (wish I could have stayed but had to catch my train).

The rooms were actually spacy for a capsule hotel. It was cheap for two nights, and I didn't expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly. I really recommend it for a short stay.

Wanted to try out the concept of capsule hotel. The room was nice, very nice bunk beds, air-conditioner, no claustrophobia at all. Some of the shared bathrooms were dirty, but as the hotel has no staff 24/7 it is just as the guests leave it. Ok for a one night stay, especially for backpackers.

The accommodation was exactly like it was explained in the ad. I liked that my partner and I could share a pod and it had a privacy curtain. We were also given a code to access the building and had a locker to store our stuff. We forgot our lock but could purchase one at the vending machine in the common area. Although there were only 3 x female showers, I was always able to shower immediately, and there was no line-up. All in all, the accommodation was affordable and suitable for our short-term stay.

The hostel did what it promised. Staying overnight in Ljubljana is expensive and this capsule hotel with shared bathroom was within our budget. Hostel owner and especially the cleaning lady were super nice and we were able to leave our backpacks in the hostel for the day before checkin. Bus stop was right in front of the hostel and the cafe next door served great morning coffee.

We are a family of five and loved our two night stay in this hotel. Modern and unique indoor design. Friendly and helpful staff. Cozy and well-equipped apartment. Good restaurant/bar area with TVs, play room for the kids, modern gym and even a Playstation 5 that can be rented at a little fee. Convenient and cheap bus connections available directly in front of the hotel.

Perfect apartment - everything was excellent! Very clean & spacious and well equipped - plus, it offers convenient self check-in. It is located in the outskirts of Ljubljana, but is very easy and cheap to get into the city center by bus. The owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place!

What a strange place... I knew it was a capsule / pod hotel, but didn't really expect plywood boxes! Once you get past the strange layout it's actually really good; the beds are surprisingly comfortable, the little rooms have most things you need, there are lots of showers / toilets around, and everything is nice and new. A most unusual place, but I'd definitely go back!

It's not easily reachable by foot, but there's a bus stop right in front of the building. Also, it's very convenient that there's a small supermarket around the corner! For my first time in a capsule hotel I thought it was really nice, I especially liked the interior design.

It's a capsule hotel like Japan but it's probably a lot more laid back than Japan. Very friendly staff, clean, great showers, filtered air. Lots of amenities locally.
