Find the capsule hotels that appeal to you the most
Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
I like most that there is a laundry room. It is really convenient for travellers who has a long vacation. Most staff were friendly. Breakfast tasted good though it was not a buffet. Location was not as convenient as I expected. It takes around 10 to 15 minutes walk to the train station (depends which station you are going to).
Breakfast was OK. good variety of options available. The location is quiet because it is slightly out of the centre of the city, but it is conveniently located near a train station, so getting into the centre took no more than 20 minutes.
The room was large and comfortable. Best of all were the helpful staff. Without fail friendly and genuine.
Helpful friendly staff..... One of the best breakfasts i have ever had.
I was on a budget so almost didn't do the breakfast. Most breakfast deals are cheap cereal.
Lilla Brunn had everything. Eggs, sausage n bacon. potato salad. cereal breads. decent cheeses. ham. salami...
had it twice
The room was beautifully designed and very comfy. I had a little reading nook by my window and considering I booked one of the cheaper options available it did not feel like a budget room at all. It really felt like a lot of care was put into everything. Activities were always available, almost like a hostel atmosphere but with ten times the luxury. Honestly, it felt like the hotel itself could be a tourist attraction! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is a two minute walk away from T-centralen so super handy!
I got the King Deluxe Room and can only recommend. It was a bit more loud during the weekend, but otherwise the hotel is quiet and comfortable. The beds in the other rooms were relatively small, but the rooms are nice and spacious (single rooms, not bunk bed rooms). The staff is very friendly and the bar/restaurant downstairs is super convenient in cold weather.
I would say that it was a budget friendly accommodation and we got what we paid for. Room was clean, but bit small, personnel pleasant and helpful, location convenient and easy to use as a base for exploration.
I like the fact that it was really cheap compared to other places. On top of that, there is a kitchen that we can use which is really convenient when you are on a budget while traveling the world.
very comfortable and conveniently located (near the centre of the city). place was cleaned during our 3-night stay which was delightful. staff was extremely friendly and helpful — we needed to extend our stay and they were nice enough to help us select the cheapest option.
