Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
The early check-in was very convenient, but of course, base on availability. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Need not had to go to counter requesting for mineral water and basic stuffs like tissue paper, 3 in one coffee. It was all delivered at the doorstep when I got back from work despite of displaying "DO NOT DISTURB" sign.
I booked a room in a 16 room dorm but only shared it with one other guy for a week 🙈 therefore plenty of space, nice basic accomodation and very cheap. Very friendly neighbors also who helped me out with washing, which was free to use.
Location of the hotel is near Star Megamall, restaurants and convenient store which is all walking distance. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The room is spacious, clean and the price is very affordable for a 3-star hotel.
The room was clean and orderly, the staff friendly and efficient, and the location quite central to what we wanted to see in the city. Plenty of restaurant options around, plus a laundromat only a block away. Bus station is a bit far away but Grab is cheap and fast to get there.
