Location, facilities, cleanliness, security and service was A+++. I love the little window overseeing the quiet but lively Lorong Ikan. The fact that La Vie En Rose, Kua Lai pastry and Temu (to name a few) are just steps away is a huge plus too!
The facilities were great. Water filter/dispenser at the lobby, all-day simple cakes, apples, tea & coffee for guests were very thoughtful. There's also free washer, dryer at the ground floor so you can simply pack light and wash your clothes when you run out.
The room is well-lit and the traditional window adds a nice touch of heritage. Air-conditioner, fan, tv (with streaming services), wifi all worked great when I stayed there.

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
If you just want a place to sleep and shower. This place is perfect. Clean bed, clean toilets, friendly staff and cheap price. Free car park for hotel guest also
Functional rooms. Dated but good for sleeping. Lower floors facing the main road too noisy. We changed rooms. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Value for money. Convenient and great. Walking distance to food heading toward the university.
Everything in the mini bar is complementary, not only the coffee and tea. It's not the cheap ones; the kacang was tong garden's one.
Breakfast was superb, nice taste and lots of variety.
