I wanted to stay for a night then ended up staying for weeks. I loved the hostel, the people, the stuff and all facilities. Everything was above expectations. We have free snacks, coffee and tea, working area and a lot to mention . We had a great new year celebration as well. I met some other travelers from other countries as well. Loved the atmosphere and the staff, they are kind and helpful.

Not all the pods are the same, but mine was AMAZING. Literally everything a pod style hostel bed should be. Tons of hooks, a shelf, a wall-mounted folding table, and ventilation so that it is still cool inside even with the door closed. The bathrooms were great. The kitchen is fully equipped, even having an oven! The administrator doesn't speak English but is very kind and helpful. The place feels quite safe, in a gated community. Free laundry (wash AND dry) and apparently meals for purchase, though I didn't know much about that while I was there
Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.
We have stayed here before and since then the apartment has been redecorated so everywhere is very clean. Very convenient for the airport. Walking distance.
Super close to airport making it convenient if you don't want to travel into town. Room is a bit old but clean and comfortable. Owner was also quite accomodative, though respond may be a bit slow sometimes. Compared to the price you pay, I think it's quite a good value for money.

The location is good for a layover. We booked this apartment to shower before our late night flight, as Almaty airport is known to have limited facilities, including only one lounge without a shower. This apartment is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the airport, making it a smart choice. We had ample time to refresh ourselves for a few hours before our long flight.
