Tomiris was the best hostel I stayed at in Kazakhstan - friendly, comfortable capsule beds, super clean
, delicious breakfast and easy to get to (bus 79 from the airport stops 10 minutes walk away, Baikonur metro is 15 min walk ). The staff were helpful and spoke English, too! There was always tea and coffee and every morning breakfast was a bit different but always salad, fruit, omelette, cake, toast etc.
AQ miniSUITES is set in Almaty, within 1.7 km of Gvardeytsev-Panfilovtsev Park and 2.7 km of Abay Opera House.

Everything was clean and neat, the room was compact but very cosy. The common spaces were very spacious. The bathroom was cleaned very regularly and they even had a Turkish hamam.
It was also perfectly located (same building as an Ibis and a Novotel). The bed was quite soft (for those who like it).

This hotel is very central and it's the cleanest place I've ever been! All the rooms are single, with very comfortable materass and pillow, and with plenty of storage spaces for your bags. The facilities are common, but despite sharing the bathroom with other people, it is very neat all the time. There are also washing machines and dryers that you can use for free.
A big kitchen with coffee and tea included at any time, and two living rooms, where you easily meet other travellers.

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
Very easy going and budget-friendly. We came back to the same hostel after a 2-day trip to Charyn canyon and Kolsay lakes. Some other travellers we met in the trip stayed also at the same hostel. So all in all it was nice for the atmosphere and the people for good talking and sharing experiences and traveling tips.
Its a very cheap and best for budget friendly traveler. The receptionist Miss ROSE Is a very very good human being. We also a part of his 60 birth day. All things they will provide his hostel its beyond your thought... Lovely locations well connected by local bus and taxi....
New property, people are very very helpful, friendly. Superb location. Considering the fact it is a capsule hotel/hostel, facilities are very good. Cleanliness is very good. I wish them great success in future.
Clean toilet/shower, not too many beds in the dormitory rooms, lockers with electronic / smart locks. The staff is friendly and they provide a small contain for grocery items. Bunk beds with privacy curtains / LCD lights and sockets.
Kitchen is very clean and organized. Little far from city center - but very easy to catch the buses 9, 11, 80 ... (3 minutes walk to bus stop)
The location is very convenient. The staff is incredibly friendly - I left my jacket in the wardrobe and they went out of their way to contact me and kept it for me until I picked it up. The shower was great; excellent water pressure and temperature. Nice restaurants and a supermarket 50m from it. Everything was clean and comfy. I'd recommend it to anyone travelling to Almaty looking for a budget business hotel.
The location is great, around the center of the city. Very convenient to reach all sightseeing's with taxi since it's very cheap there. The rooms had nothing missing. Very spacious and somewhat modern. The bathroom was especially great. Since hotel is in top floors of one of the highest buildings around it has a great panoramic view to the city from the rooms. Breakfast had nothing missing already, big variety to choose from for all tastes. Staff were friendly, speaking English well so we had no issues.
