A decent capsule hotel, has all the amenities you need for a brief stay, surprisingly has free flow alcohol and a decent public wash room and onsen. It's in the heart of shinjuku so you can visit all the popular tourist spot nearby without any hassle.

Very clean, quiet, great bathrooms and showers. Loved the upper capsule beds. They were roomy with convenient area to access baggage within the bed area.

The location was ideal! The train was literally less than a 5 minute walk. It's between 7/11 and Family Mart. There's a lot of places to eat.

Free amenities are the best, rice and curry every morning with drinks almost 24/7. Bathhouse is nice if you don't mind the culture of just stripping down: treat it like a gym locker room and it's fine. Also, there are no other showering options besides the bathhouse, and you cannot get in the actual hot spring with any clothes on, as that is pretty nasty anyways. Pretty much everything you need there, but be wary that while they have English papers and signs, they don't speak as much of it. You don't really need to talk at all here though, you can just be silent for 3 days straight and it's a great experience. Pretty much everything you see is included, you don't even need your bag or pajamas because they give you outfits to change in to. If it's not included, they will have a price tag next to it, but that's only the shop near the entrance of the hotel. Amazingly relaxing experience, you can just chill all day and read manga (might be hard if you can't read Japanese though).
For anime fans: I discovered that White Fox Studios is literally less than a minute walk from this hotel on the way to Ogikubo station, so that is pretty cool if you enjoy anime.

One of my favorite places to stay when I visit Japan.
It's right next to the Akabane Station and Don Quixote.
There isn't an elevator, but you can store your luggage on the day you check in. You can pay in cash if you need to extend your stay more days and if there's room.
Capsules are lockable. You get free towels and a robe; you can exchange towels once a day. If you're staying 4-5+ days you can ask for linen changes. Toothpaste and toothbrush sets are free.
Washing machine (free, bring own detergent) is available, it costs 100yen/10 min to dry. You can air dry in your capsule if you need to, but there are laundromats nearby if you can't get the clothes dry.
There are smoking areas in the building.
Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.
The location is convenient, staffs are super friendly and helpful, comfortable beds, good breakfast, free coffee and teas almost all day, free toiletries. No keys, everything pin pad.
Simple, semi-capsule hotel (you'll get your own box). Surprisingly comfortable. Bathroom well equipped with whatever you may need to look even more beautiful. Rather silent and clean. In my opinion better than multi-bed dormitory (the box gives you privacy).
The staff was very friendly and helpful, they're available 24h/day. When my own Japanese failed they were nice to find an online translator. They offer free hygiene products, bathrobes and more.
Our first capsule hotel in Japan, stayed there for 2 nights. Travelling as a couple. We stayed at different floors and could be together downstairs where there was free curry and machines dispensing ice cream and various drinks. We were surprised how clean everything was. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Capsules were comfy, just a bit too hot occasionally. Location is perfect. Will recommend!
Great selection of complimentary refreshments and food (no vegetarian curry, but plenty of rice/noodles/ice cream). Rooms were very spacious for a capsule hotel and the bathrooms were well kept.
The hotel is close to the station. And there are many restaurants and even Shopping Mall near the hotel, so convenient!!
The staff are very friendly and helpful! :)
This place is exceptional. Although it was a capsule hotel you couldn't feel that there was like 50 people on the same floor. It was quiet, large bathrooms and showers prevented any queues, food and drinks were great. Amazing, truly recommend, and I'll come back for sure.
A Non Buffet style Japanese breakfast was very good.
Very convenient location with easy access to the station
