Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.
I recently stayed at Alchemist Home,Kazhakootam while working at Technopark, and it was an excellent choice for accommodation. The location is incredibly convenient, making travel to and from Technopark very easy. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with amenities like air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and free WiFi.
This place is budget-friendly and truly worth the price. The caretaker, clinto, was exceptionally helpful and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area.
Best budget friendly and clean hotel in Trivandrum; staff were polite and prompt in responding; allowed early morning check-in and early check-out as well, it is generally not allowed in most hotels here which I enquired about.
Rams Guesthouse Meadows is in a quiet location that is convenient to both the airport and Kochuveli railway station. Our room and the communal kitchen and sitting area were clean, comfortable and spacious. Rams is a friendly and caring host.

It was an amazing stay with a homely atmos . Budget friendly 2 bhk with 3 balconies in the centre of the town .The appartment was so neet & clean , especially the bathrooms. The owner was so humble and friendly . We all loved it . Will come again for sure . My rating is 5/5 . 👍
