Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.
The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated, with a cozy ambiance and well-thought-out infrastructure.The hosts, a wonderful husband and wife duo, were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and hospitable.
Location was fantastic, very quick WiFi and delicious food! The family were also so welcoming giving us tips on where to visit locally, and helping us source a cheap local tuktuk for our departure.

A Well furnished room hardly 100 metres away from the seashores... I had such a wonderful stay! It's quite budget friendly even for Solo travelers like me. Would definitely come back and stay longer than this!

Amazing hospitality. The family who run this homestay are so friendly. The homestay is short walk from the beach (go there for sunset!). We booked a budget room but it certainly didn't feel like it was! The room and bathroom were spotless and we had a sitting area outside in the garden. Breakfast was delicious and the dinner was even better (probably the best meal we had in Kerala). Much recommended, and great value for the price.
