Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.
We had a very comfortable stay for three nights. Yen is a very friendly and helpful host. The location is very convenient for the airport and very quiet.
The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room had good comfortable facilities. The hotel is located very conveniently by the ferry port.

It was great to have our Sunday evening meal at the hotel as most things are closed on a Sunday on the island - I would advice anyone to book a meal for a Sunday well in advance. The hotel has its own carpark and was extremely convenient for the ferry; especially for a 6 am check in. The hotel provided us with a packed breakfast when we requested this.
