Find the capsule hotels that appeal to you the most
Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
Context... This is a budget hotel. And folk need to be realistic about what they expect. Overall though, great stay, friendly staff and room comfortable and clean. Hotel was quiet. Sand check in and out were quick. Easy access to Sheffield city centre
Having an iron and ironing board in the room was very convenient.
Would recommend. And would stay here again.
Decent sized room with TV (+Netflix).
Cheap parking (around £6 for 24 hours).
5 minute drive from the centre.
Very friendly and helpful staff (I did not have any coins for the vending machine and the receptionist just opened it up for me and let me choose what I want).
The room was warm and clean and the staff were very friendly. Its a budget hotel so very compact room with a toilet and a shower. The double bed had a single bed over the top of it. This was perfect for size for us as we just needed a place to stay for the night. 2 adults and 1 child. The toilet and shower separate which was actually very convenient.
It was cheap which is why I booked it. The staff were incredibly friendly and honest when you check in that this is a budget hotel and if anyone is loud when the cone back from a night out let them know.
For a budget quick stay this hotel is ideal. Friendly staff, great location, shower was fantastic, really hot quickly and powerful. TV was great, beds were OK, did the job! I slept really well, it was quiet and I was undisturbed. I will definitely stay here again, cheaper than a hostel for two of us!
