Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.
First, the location of the Oban Backpackers is great with there only being a short walk into the town centre, station, and Oban ferry terminal.
Also it's one of the cheapest places to stay in Oban being around £20 pounds per night. Which is very good value for money with great friendly staff clean rooms and generally a great base for your Highland adventure.
It was in a convenient location near the ferry terminal the price was cheap compared to other locations,so I likely got what I paid for.Breakfast was included but as it did not start until 8am,I left before breakfast commenced.
Very friendly staff, Nice little bar, convenient location
