Find the capsule hotels that appeal to you the most
Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.
The location right in the centre of Oakham can't be more convenient. The building is old and looks lovely outside and inside. It has a great character especially inside and I would recommend to visit for a beer and for dinner. The dinner was so well cooked and tasty, a real highlight. There is a small outside area to sit if the weather permits. The staff are lovely, so helpful and friendly. The bathroom was good with a bath which is a bonus. Plenty of space to park although a little tricky to find.
Wonderful overnight stay in lovely accommodation in a tranquil and peaceful setting. Perfect location near to Rutland Water and convenient for Oakham and pretty nearby villages. Beautiful and comfortable room, great facilities and shower. Excellent breakfast (though the toast was a little on the cold side!). Staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and courteous. Would highly recommend.
We wanted a cheap and convenient stay and this fitted the brief. The staff were fantastic -
So friendly and welcoming. The room and facilities were clean and god value for money.
The room we stayed in had a shared bathroom but it explains this when we booked.
Really can’t complain about this hotel. It’s such excellent value for money, in a great location and the staff are so friendly. We were able to to bring our small cavachon and the staff made such a fuss of her. I don’t understand the negative reviews at all, it’s not 5 star but look how cheap the rooms are. 100% recommend.
