Cosmos capsule coworking London, hotel in London

Conveniently set in the Tower Hamlets district of London, Cosmos capsule coworking London is located 400 metres from Brick Lane, 1.1 km from Liverpool Street Underground Station and 1.9 km from Sky...

This is essentially a hostel, but a very small, clean & safe hostel where your bunkbed is closed off for privacy. I felt very safe & the pods were clean & well maintained, but it's not a particularly comfortable stay. The pods are not soundproof, and there was a maintenance issue with the shared bathroom (toilet leaking for the duration of my stay). But still, for the location and the price, it's decent.

The Green Room, hotel in London

Conveniently set in the Sydenham district of Sydenham, The Green Room is situated 9.4 km from O2 Academy Brixton, 10 km from Blackheath station and 11 km from Greenwich Park.

You can't beat the value and location of this property, well below what we've paid before to stay near family. Yes, the room, ensuite and the bed were small but it was very comfortable and clean. Nice enough outlook from the window too. Overall we can't really complain.

Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

This is a budget-friendly hotel suitable for solo-traveller. From the point of view of public transport- the location is excellent. It is close to two tube stations. In addition, the night buses from Piccadilly Circus pass right by. I like to go to shows and concerts, and socialise afterwards. I am always able to get back to the hotel quickly and conveniently.

The room was quite small, but at this budget price it met my expectations. The hotel was clean, and the staff were very friendly. I asked for a quiet room, and this request was granted. The hotel is very close to Gloucester Road tube station, so it's convenient too.

The location was excellent and it made travelling to the various places very convenient. The room was comfortable for one person. Although the carpet seemed old, the room was actually really clean. The staff were very friendly and tried their best to help me. I had to book an early morning taxi and I got the reception to help me. After finding out how much it was (it was exorbitant), I decided not to book the taxi. The reception helped me through the whole process and even asked the taxi company if the fare could be cheaper.

Location was perfect for travel into work in central London. It’s a great budget place to stay for a few nights. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I selected one of the single bed rooms and it was small but comfortable. All the facilities (TV, shower, fridge, wifi, etc) worked as they should. There’s also a lot of places to eat or shops to buy essentials across the road or close by. Would stay again if I need a cheap place for a few nights while in town for work.

It was interesting sleeping in a dormitory that felt like a Japanese capsule hotel. The breakfast was good. Finally, it was nice to do my own laundry, and not pay a fortune for it!

Nice, clean, well-designed room. It's small & didn't have a window but I didn't mind as it was only 1 night & we were going for economy (we pretended we were in a Japanese Pod Hotel). Nice foyer space to sit in . Despite the budget nature of the place, I really appreciated the free tea and coffee, very kind. And our room was nice and quiet ( it was Sunday night tho) in a great location for trendy Shoreditch and for us to make our appointment at the visa office.

    - Location can't be beat: you're as central in London, Soho as it gets (right next to Picadilly Circus station) - The service staff at check-in was exceptionally nice and welcoming! - Room was clean, bed was comfy. It's as functional as it gets: the rooms don't have windows and the room sizes are small. However, if you intend to be out sightseeing or doing any kind of activities during your stay, this shouldn't put you off. I liked the basic design - it reminded me of Japanese capsule hotels.
