Find the capsule hotels that appeal to you the most
Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.
Modern capsule hotel, Gatwick Airport South Terminal, free coffee & tea, light snacks/ meals/ drinks available to buy, clean room with single, comfortable bunk bed, tv, shower & toilet, very close to airport check in & bag drop
For what it was - a budget airport hotel - this property was superb. It could not have been more conveniently located - just outside the security check in the South Terminal at Gatwick. Whilst the accommodations were basic, my room was very well appointed and very comfortable. What was greatly appreciated was the sound proofing in the room - there was no intrusive aircraft noise what so ever!
friendly checkin despite room mixup.
excellent location right next to security, and also right next to airport assistance area.
convenient for early departure next day
comfortable bed but not much headroom as bunk bed. a bit awkward.
Of course, you cannot open the windows in a sound proof room which makes total sense but for me it is a bit difficult to sleep. Nonetheless, a very pleasant stay. Extremely helpful and friendly staff! Nice room, comfy bed, naturally very convenient if you fly from/to Gatwick airport.
The capsule hotel was conveniently located inside Gatwick South Terminal very easy to access. The bed/mattress was great to sleep on. There was enough space to work or use a laptop. However, you may want to consider another option if you are claustrophobic. Furthermore, the room was clean and tidy with basic amenities available.
Perfect place for a night after landing late at night. Really cool, well planned space, comfy bed, nice shower, friendly and easy check in.
Reminded me of the capsule hotels in East Asia. Prefer to stay here than a traditional hotel, more fun as an add on to a trip.
it’s right inside the terminal, there are a set of lifts next to Costa Coffee in the main hall. if you live quite far from LGW and have a super early flight the next morning (like me at 6.30am) then it’s really convenient. You just need to establish whether it is cheaper to get a taxi from your area vs booking a capsule.
Very conveniently located and friendly staff. My 8 year old daughter loved the bunk bed.
