Find the capsule hotels that appeal to you the most
Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
Awesome view from our pod. We stayed there as a couple with our dog and can't speak for the rooms in the main building. Our pod was wonderful and nicly decorated. The double bed is really very small so you better enjoy a good cudle 😉 very small space but very nice and definately recommended. Thomas, the hostel's boss is very helpful, friendly and takes care if everything.
Friendly & helpful staff

Clean, spacious with a PUB just down the road 👍
Stayed in the pod as a solo traveller with my dog. Ideal location. Equipped with a kettle, heater and own bathroom. Great addition to the youth hostel. Would definitely recommend and staff checking in was very helpful and friendly.
Everything 😁 Fab location, The staff were friendly and helpful, Pod was 10/10 had everything needed after a days hiking and the views and wee seating area on the deck outside the pod was stunning.
Super little cabin with a useful small kitchen. Very friendly hosts. Beautiful location. Great hot tub. Convenient parking. Gorgeous walk from the door. Lots to do locally and helpful recommendations from the host.
The location is excellent, with views over the Loch of Glencoe. The cottage / pod is located directly in the village of Glencoe, with its beautiful scenery and its stormy history.
The hosts were extremely friendly, without being in any way intrusive.
The village of Glencoe is an excellent base for local walks, as well as for making tours into the highlands, or to the island of Mull.
The cottage was clean, with all the facilities which are required.
