Find the capsule hotels that appeal to you the most
Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
This guesthouse was very conveniently located close to the town centre but was still a quiet and safe area. We had a bedroom with an ensuite which was very clean and well presented. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The guesthouse had a very small but well equipped kitchen which enabled us to put together a simple breakfast. Tea and coffee facilities (with biscuits) were in abundance. The small but convenient carpark at the back of the property was an added bonus to a long list of positives about this guesthouse.

Lovely view of sunset from room!
Really appreciated being able to leave luggage in secure place after checking out. Thank you
Really well catered for, beautiful apartment in a convenient location, interior was fantastic and very cosy. Took the dog with us at short notice, but everything was perfect for him, really pet friendly and hosts were very responsive to any queries! A great place to stay!
Good budget option for a short stay on North side of Aberdeen. Lots of improvements have been made by the current management but there is still a bit to do.
Accommodation is clean but still needs some updating, bar is a bit 1980's but is friendly and reasonably priced. Indian restaurant attached with limited opening times.
Convenient location, a short walk away from the city and shops, close to the hospital and easy to go places on public transport.
Friendly staff.
