Find the capsule hotels that appeal to you the most
Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.
Central location, above a parking garage, easy access to public transportation. Short walk to the center and sights. Room with a view of the cathedral. Good A/C kept us cool on a very warm summer evening. Decent array of breakfast options (albeit machine coffee). Let's face it - you're not staying here for luxury; it's a cheap, cheerful option for a couple of nights. It's clean, things generally work, the staff is friendly and helpful - it does what it says on the tin. That's all we needed, and it delivered.
Nice hotel, for a reasonable price. Own parking. Close to the tram, and about 20 min walk to the city center. Staff is very friendly. The guy in the reception speaking all possible languages (incl Japanese) is awesome! :)
The hotel is right across from the train station. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and explained everything to us, including where the supermarket is located. Getting around is convenient too, as many buses stop at the train station. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. The room is spacious.
The best things about this apartment:
Cleanliness - as clean as other reviews suggested.
Budget-friendly price - cheaper than most of the apartments in Strasbourg.
Excellent location, especially for visiting European institutions.
Instructions provided by the host were extremely helpful and full of details.
Nice clean room. Quite, green area. Conveniently close to a tram stop. Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfectly adequate for the price. Great for traveling solo and on a budget
Ecxellent budget hotel option near the central station. Especially convenient when travelling by bus from Frankfurt. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly.
Start to finish this little hotel exceeded my expectations. A bit funky and love the artful-fun decor. Breakfast was excellent. Budget friendly and everything done very well!!! Highly recommend and will book there again. Very convenient to the train station.
The location is superb! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great. Good value for money.
Rooms for different budgets. We took the cheapest rooms (relatively small). Even these rooms are nicely furnished and well decorated. I saw some of he more expensive rooms while they were cleaned. Also very nice and cosy.
