Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
Beautiful location, excellent friendly host, the chalet is super equipped with all you could ever need during your stay! Very quiet location and close to more than excellent hiking routes, for which you can find a beautiful guide in the house.
