Find the capsule hotels that appeal to you the most
Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
Staff (friendly for a French hotel), size of the rooms (spacious). We got 2 connecting rooms as we were travelling as a group of 5 and it was super convenient. Breakfast was ok, a little bit chaotic as the staff was struggling withe a lot of visitors during Olympic Games. Parking is just in front of the hotel under the station
Every Staff member we met were so nice, courteous and helpful.
We were allowed to check in early with no extra charge.
Beds were really comfy.
Bar Food was fresh, fab and so convenient.
Eco friendly.
Loved the breakfast, plenty of supply and homegrown apples and honey an added bonus.
Little extras, table tennis, fussball table, free popcorn, free distilled water.
Location was great. Room was a good size. Clean. Parking was a little difficult to find, but was secure and cheap. The staff were really great, super helpful and friendly.
Concierge was very friendly and helpful. Collecting and leaving the key was really smooth. The location is was really close to the both main stations. There was a coffee machine and they left couple of pods which was nice.
The staff were all really friendly. The breakfast was also incredibly cheap for what was on offer. The location is really convenient for the train stations and it's only a short walk into the centre of the old city. The price is great value for money if you value location.
The hotel was super convenient. It was right in the centre of Lille, next to the metro station and Westfields shopping centre. Lots of restaurants nearby. The underground parking was fantastic and whilst it wasn't cheap it was so useful to be able to drive straight into Lille, into the parking and one elevator ride up into the hotel. Unbeatable. The staff are super friendly and were extremely accommodating. Thank you for a fantastic stay, we will be back! :)
Hostel was clean and conveniently located for both Flanders and Europe train stations. Capsule beds were surprisingly spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful too.
So close to Station so very convenient when my train got cancelled last minute.
Very friendly helpful staff
Good Gym and very comfy bed.
Super clean
Really sound proof. Could not hear any of the traffic outside except the odd siren.
Super friendly staff, super convenient location, the capsules felt very private. Obviously there is some sound bleed through, but it's much more private than any standard hostel. It was 3p seconds from the train station. Can access the doors with codes after hours so I didn't need to worry about having a late night out.
