Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

Location is excellent, right on the river. We paid extra for a river view, we'll worth it! Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good 👍

Liked the small friendly hotel. Breakfast was beautifully served. WE had no view from our bedroom window, just the roof of a conservatory a wall. However we did not spend much time there as the lovely town was on the doorstep. Secure parking was appreciated.

A lovely hotel in a quiet location, apart from the bells at the nearby church chiming every half hour (quiet after 22.00). It actually added character to the lovely surroundings of ancient buildings. Parking just across a quiet road. We had a lovely room with a balcony where we enjoyed a glass of wine before dinner. The proprieters were friendly and very helpful. The Hotel restaurant food was fabulous and we ate outside.

The location was very convenient for the town . Our room was light and airy . As it was very hot we were pleased to have a fridge. Also it was great to be able to swim in the pool. The owners were very helpful and friendly .

Convenient location on river and close to centre and rail station. Very friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner were good value for money with more than adequate choice. Room quiet and comfortable bed and pillows. I really enjoyed my stay.
