Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
We were here on business and booked the hotel because of their proximity to our business meeting which was within walking distance, so perfect. The room was quite spacious and the bed comfortable. Service at breakfast in the morning was extremely friendly and the breakfast options were plentiful. Would definately book again when back on business.
We booked late and arrived late. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was very good with big portions and a good selections of drinks. The rooms were huge and plenty of space. The bathroom was also large and everything worked well.
It was an affordable alternative in Mönchengladbach that I really liked. The room was comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel was also very convenient as it was close to many shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure that I felt comfortable during my stay. I would definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I am in Mönchengladbach.
The position was good. The receptionist on check out was nice and the girl at breakfast was friendly. Breakfast we quite nice. Vending machine full of many things.
