Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.

The host and family are very welcoming and friendly. She genuinely cares for her guests and tend to every need. The place was conveniently located near a bus stop and a short walk to the mall. Breakfast is PB&J or cereal with bananas which worked for us. The place is quiet in a safe neighborhood.

My first visit to Canada I just needed some where to crash for one night. The hotel is a little outdated, however 10 out of 10 for cleanliness and the breakfast is very adequate with plenty of choice for a continental with hot scrambled eggs. We used the hotel’s shuttle service which very convenient . Stayed one night to get ferry to the island next day. Bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. Staff are helpful, cheerful & friendly .

Comfortable room, friendly staff, convenient shuttle. Restaurant did the best gumbo I've had in ages. Will do pick ups from south terminal or pay for your cab.

I was pleasantly happy with my stay at the Panda Pod Hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, very professional. The directions from the train staion were great but it isn't until I arrived at the Hotel that it tells me the entrance is around back. I liked the funny pun you wrote. 😂🤣 'We're being up front' 🤣😂 silent space with blinds for doors, and kitchen with coffee and teas. Thank you for the space great concept. Pod has good ventilation, lighting and wifi.
