Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

Beautiful little hotel very close to the beautiful beaches in this area. The pool area is very nice and you also have a big volleyball field next to it. The rooms were very clean with a kitchen and a beautiful bathroom. You can also watch netflix on the tv. The breakfast was also very nice . The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The Pousada was beautiful with a great colour scheme (yellow & blue)! It was a pleasure eating breakfast each morning next to the pool, and the breakfast selection changed each day which felt refreshing. The staff weren't that clued up on what was vegan and what wasn't, but generally there were plenty of choices for breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful and allowed a slightly later checkout. The location is fantastic too, close to the main town yet quiet at night.

I had one of the more expensive rooms, which are situated in the reception side of the street. The change was worth it. Staff at reception was very friendly (I do apologize I forgot his name) he was very helpful too. Breakfast had a very good selection of local dishes/pastries and it tasted fresh as well.

Great place to stay in Barra Grande, next to Bar da Ro where you can do Stand Up and have a meal and some drinks. You have both river and sea available where only very few people reach there as per it is far from the town center. So it is a private area where you can take your time and have a swim. Staff is welcome friendly and gives you useful advises. Appreciated the mini fridge in the room with some water, coke and beer.
