Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.
It is a lovely place with a large garden, full of different artifacts worth to discover, fantastic nature around and friendly host who helped us a lot.
Superb location on a west-facing hillside (nice sunset over mountains); attractive layout, very clean, super staff - and highly dog-friendly: they have 3 or 4 of their own, plus a visitor from next door, and our dog had a marvellous time racing up and down the hillside and playing with the other dogs. Overall, the place was much better than I expected (photos on the website don't do it justice). Decent, basic facilities.
