Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.
Very friendly, decorated with taste. Nice paintings and a great and healthy breakfast. They put a lot af details in every part of the hotel from reception parking over the comfortable rooms, the breakfast to the checkout. All that for a very affordable price. A nice surprise!
