Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
The breakfast was very good, the facilities were excellent, and the staff very helpful and friendly, I’ll would recommend sítio dos lagos to anyone. I’ll organise another trip and will include this place for another visit.
Breakfast and dinner were great. Staff was pretty friendly - they would send us dinner options in advance through text message so we could choose prior to dinner time. View was great. Waterfall inside the hotel was impressive.
