Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice historical building. Very central located but still peaceful room and hotel in the middle of this busy city. Appreciated also the free tea and water and cheap and fast laundry service. Breakfast up to standard. Overall very good value for money.

Comfy place to stay in La Paz in a convenient location. The hosts were very friendly and let me check in early. The breakfast was really nice and it is a good place to meet other travellers. I would stay here again.

Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms come at a fair price and overall I had a good experience at the Diamante Azul hotel. Breakfast is a buffet with a variety to choose from, probably one of the most complete I had in the past few weeks of travels. Location is convenient.
Capsules are nice a cozy, aircon inside plus lights charging ports and tv. Quite sound proof, easy to take naps during the day and sleep through the night.

Cute little hotel with very friendly staff. We arrived very late and had to leave early on departure day but the staff was really flexible and nice about it, even prepared us a breakfast bag! The location is also very convenient close to the yellow gondola
The capsule is an awesome idea! It's clean, comfy and it even has a TV and aircon!! It's not sound proof but it gives you enough privacy that you can really detach from the outside world if you feel to. Hot shower at all times in the shared bathroom and very good location at a very good price.
The capsule offered a nice private space in a dormitory setting, fitted with hooks and usb port. The staff were always very friendly, the place was clean and the breakfast was a great way to start the morning.
