Find the capsule hotels that appeal to you the most
Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
Everything. The property is quirky and unique. The staff was friendly and helpful. The views were amazing. There are four resident alpacas on the property.
Nice place in a good location to access everything in Copacabana, close to the main square and cathedral. The rooms are large and there is a nice garden area in the sun. There are enough blankets to keep you warm at night which are very heavy. The hosts were friendly and gave us recommendations for visiting Isla del Sol. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. It was quiet at night.
Very central location, the bus from Puno drops you right in front of the hotel door!
Comfy and clean room
Staff are very friendly and were able to book our boat out to Isla del Sol for us for a very good price (cheaper than the stores selling them in the square)
Breakfast was excellent, best we have had in Bolivia! Everything was very fresh- well cooked eggs, variety of fruit, pastries, bread.
WiFi is good
Would definitely recommend staying here
One of our best hostals during our trip in South America! New furniture, spacious room, friendly staff and really clean. Definitely worth spending a little extra compared to the cheapest hostals!
The staff was really friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious ! To my surprise, I had a double room with private bathroom for myself, for a very cheap price ! (11€, breakfast included)
Great views over the city. Large room, with balcony. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money.
While it is up on the edge of the town it is a cheap (less than $2) taxi ride fron the town center - or a 15 min uphill walk from the town / 10 min downhill back to town. The advantage is that it is a quiet location.
Original, but convenient architecture, beautiful flowers in the garden spacious rooms, incredible view on Lake Titicaca. Helpfu and friendly staff, breakfast not offered but can be easily prepared with fresh eggs and all other ingredients available in the kitchen.
Excellent value for money. The double en-suite room was spacious and extremely comfortable, it has a very homely feel, as does the entire accommodation. The host is very friendly and has two lovely dogs. The breakfast in the morning is a buffet style and one of the best budget friendly breakfasts we have had. The wifi is excellent. The property is only a two minute walk from the main plaza and attractions. Would definitely stay again.
