Find the capsule hotels that appeal to you the most
Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
very comfortable room with nice view of the marina and sunsets, great pools, friendly and helpful staff. close to supermarket making it very convenient.
Staff friendly & couldn't have been more helpful with information about the Island, bus timetables etc. Also booked the sunset cruise for us. This place has a real resort feeling to it and we wish we could have stayed longer.
Bus stop is a 2 minute walk away, and using the local bus is a cheap & easy way to travel between the bays.
It was cleaned by 12pm and we were able to check in early. Kate was an amazing host. Very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy. Facilities were in great working order. Very convenient location and magnesium pool was stunning. Had a great time staying at project tranquillity.
The location is quite convenient and it’s the cheapest option for staying on the island especially compared to Nomads or Selina. There is nothing majorly wrong with this place but I cannot understand where the 8.0 reviews on Booking.com come from.
Short 15 minute walk from the Ferry Terminal, it’s just a cheap, friendly base for a couple of days on Maggie Island. Met by the owner Ian, nice bloke provided map and quick explanation of where to go and best way to get around to see everything. I stayed in a bed in a tent in the back of the property which given the inbound tropical cyclone was a unique experience. There is a shared kitchen to make your meals and a shared shower/toilet.
Great location, right on the beach where you can snorkel. Also bus stop right outside the hostel, quite convenient.
Cheap drinks and social place, nice to meet people.
